![]() + Anti-slip treatment (standard) Smooth or concave finish (optional)R13 – V10 classification to DINE 51 130 norm. The anti-slip surface is highly recommended in the event of contact with particularly greasy or oily products. Silica particles incorporated in the surface give CPF gratings unparalleled non-slip properties. The granulometry of the silica particles ranges from 0.3 to 0.5 mm and possesses first-class anti-slip qualities due to an excellent compromise between the roughness of the bearing surface and the very high contact surface. Moreover, this small particle size, the least dangerous for users in terms of safety, in no way reduces the gratings’s excellent shock-resistance capacity. Lastly, the anti-slip surface (classified R13 - V10 in conformity with DIN standard E 51 130) is covered by a protective coat of resin. Thanks to this special treatment corrosion resistance and safety conditions are successfully united together. ![]() + Anti-slip closed surface (optional)Built as a single mono-block unit, gratings with anti-skid closed surface offer several advantages (besides increasing mechanical performance by 15%): •They allow the transit of heavy-load vehicles; •They protect users from any toxic fumes (coming from drainage channels), •They prevent objects or liquids from falling through + GRP Stair covers and Flat panels![]()
+ Anti-slip stair treads with optional nosingWith or without nosing our stair tread panels have a thickness of 30, 36, 40 and 55 mm.Stair tread panels with 30 mm thickness can be installed with spans less than or equal to 600 mm. ![]() ![]() For stair tread panels with other sizes please consult our office. + GUARDRAILS, STRUCTURES AND COMPOSITE STRUCTURAL ELEMENTS • Working in a corrosive environment can cause problems in terms of safety. In industrial fields where the use of metal structures is uncertain, our structural elements in polyester provide a solution to the problems caused by corrosion and optimise safety conditions at the same time.• Reinforced polyester is a material composed of continuous filament glass fibres and polyester resins. The glass fibres give the product its mechanical resistance capacity. Impregnation of the fibres with resin provides the excellent weight distribution capabilities. This is a new thermosetting material, the mechanical performance of which is close to that of steel. • The pultrusion process consents the fabrication of profiles with the glassfibresinthesamedirectionastheproduct’sloadbearingcapacity. The 60/70 % glass fibre content of the profiles gives them extremely good mechanical resistance.• As a result, guardrails have no difficulty in complying with AFNOR N FE 85-101 standards. Furthermore, they are not subject to any lasting deformation after any possible overloading. • Profiles can be fabricated with several production techniques.A wide range of profiles can therefore be offered. Thanks to the pultrusion process,we can now offer polyester profiles that can be considered new technological solutions to safety problems in industrial environments. le caillebotis CPF est :
![]() + New technological solutions in industrial environmentsWith our standard element mass production programme, the required structures are delivered in the shortest possible time.Standard delivery for our profiles is in safety yellow •The different forms and characteristics of our profiles are designed for:- Guardrails, - Ladders, - Working platforms, - Rungs, - Support profiles, - Load-bearing structures •Structures made from reinforced polyester profiles do not require any maintenance.Varnishes and other protective substances are no longer required. We recommend periodic inspection to check that structures have not been accidentally damaged in any way. • Structures with extremely high safety coefficients can be built with support profiles.Their smooth surfaces improve their aesthetic appearance and make them easy to clean •All our structural elements (guardrails, support profiles, skirting and handrails) are excellent electric and heat insulators. Moreover they are non-magnetic Profiles can be cut to length with a simple metal saw or an abrasive cut-off machine (use of a diamond disk is recommended) Due to the profiles’lightness, assembly work is extremely easy. Profiles can be assembled together with stainless steel fixings (fasteners, rivets).•Isophthalic-type or other resins are used for making profiles that meet all the chemical requirements needed for equipment used in industrial environments. The resins chosen give the profiles increased resistance against corrosion and the longest possible service life. •Ladders, guardrails and steps in glass-fibre reinforced polyester require no maintenance. As a result, investments made on acquiring the equipment will not be loaded by any further servicing or maintenance costs. In fact, our solution is very economical when compared with traditional materials.
